An exploration into non-plant types of wildlife using angular shapes to indicate conflict.
These images indicate the detail and intricate design of the smallest of creatures.
Various studies of trees near where I live.
This low relief tree made out of caravel modelling paste and acrylic paint depicts the intricacy of nature, its understated beauty and vibrance in colour.
The destruction of the environment is depicted in this tree, melting Salvador dali style to ground. Various plugs and wires (symbolising human interference) hang and have been plugged into this tree, killing it.
The fumes and artificial colouring of this factory symbolises the destruction of the environment.
Having been on a walk down a nature path, I closed my eyes I tried to think of what it made me feel. The abundance of sounds- the birds, wind, crackling leaves, made me feel so small in comparison to the amount of life there is on this earth.
This image indicates what it felt to be in a busy claustrophobic crowd with people all around tapping away on their phones and scanning internet pages on their laptops at desks.
HERE ARE SOME IMAGES FROM A FEW PROJECTS I HAVE DONE ON THE TOPIC THE 'ENVIRONMENT'. I HAVE WORKED WITH A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF MEDIA, FROM CARVABLE MODELLING PASTE TO INKS AND PENCIL. DURING MY EXPLORATION OF THIS TOPIC I HAVE LOOKED AT SOUNDS IN NATURE, DESTRUCTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE INTRICACY OF LIFE.
